Building 7 Renovation Project

Project Title

Upgrade Infrastructure, Building 8807, Honolulu CC (more regularly referred to as the Bldg 7 Renovation Project)

Project Scope

Although the official project title is simply termed an “Upgrade,” it is much larger than that. The project includes the following work:

• Construction of a new six-story elevator, including elevator lobby
• Construction of a new mechanical room stack
• Removal of existing A/C system and Installation of new A/C system
• Removal of existing ceiling and lighting and Installation of new ceiling and lighting
• Construction of 3 new telecom rooms
• Installation of network conduits
• Also includes removal of any remaining vinyl asbestos tiles and repainting of building exterior
