Where Can I Get a TB Test?

Free tests may be obtained at State of Hawaii Department of Health clinics around the State. For the most updated information, visit Department of Health TB Branch website.

Hours

TB Skin Testing

  • Requires a 2nd visit 2-3 days later for reading.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 7:45 AM- 3:00 PM; No testing on Thursday.
  • No testing done on 2 days before a holiday or the Friday before a major holiday as the clinic is closed on holidays.

Chest X-rays

  • Done only if TB skin test result is positive
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Thursday 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Driving Directions

Driving East toward Diamond Head on H-1:

  1. From H-1, take Vineyard Blvd off-ramp, stay in left lane.
  2. At stoplight, turn left onto Palama St.
  3. Follow Palama St., go past Likelike School
  4. At stoplight, turn left onto School St.
  5. Follow School St., at stoplight, turn right onto Lanakila Ave.
  6. Lanakila Health Center & TB Clinic is on left, across from the Lanakila District Park building and baseball bleachers.

Driving West toward Ewa on H-1

  1. From H-1, take Palama off-ramp.
  2. Turn right onto Palama St.
  3. Follow Palama, at stoplight, turn left onto School St.
  4. Follow School St., at stoplight, turn right onto Lanakila Ave.
  5. Lanakila Health Center & TB Clinic is on left, across from the Lanakila District Park uilding and baseball bleachers.

Parking

Free parking is available in the parking lot of Lanakila Health Center and on the street.

Bus

Bus #2 and City Express B stop near the intersection of School Street and Lanakila Ave. Call The Bus at 848-5555 for schedule and times or check The Bus website.
