WELD 74 - Tig Welding I

WELD majors only. Theory, practice and application of the TIG welding process. Welding of carbon steel and stainless steel.

20 hrs. lect./lab. per week

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of WELD 74, the student will be able to:

• Select and use the proper safety clothing and equipment
• Demonstrate TIG Welding on carbon steel and stainless steel according to industry standards in the flat and horizontal positions.
