DISL 27 - Preventative Maintenance

• Prerequisite: DISL 20

Classroom instruction and laboratory training in correct procedures and practices of medium/heavy duty truck inspection. Students will learn to perform entry-level technician inspection tasks.

150 hrs. lect./lab. per term

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of DISL 27, the student will be able to:

• Demonstrate the ability to inspect med/heavy truck Engine, Cab and Hood, Frame and Chassis, and Electrical/Electronics systems.
• Review, record, and create maitenance documents
• Verify an operators concern as it applies to Med/Heavy duty truck operation
