Flu Shot Clinic
Our annual HCC Flu Shot Clinic was held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in the Cafeteria from 10am to 1pm for our faculty, staff, students, and interested neighbors/friends and was offered by Pharmacare Hawaii.
Insurance providers included Aetna, Hawaii Laborers Union, HMA HMSA 65C+,HMSA AKAMAI, HMSA, Quest, Medicare Part B, Alohacare, Pacific Administrators, Teamsters, UHA, UMA, and HMAA members. All that was needed to do to be eligible for a free flu shot was provide their insurance card, subscriber's birthday & photo ID with Pharmacare Hawaii billing most insurances. Non-insured this past flu shot clinic this year paid $30 by check or charge only (NO cash) for a flu shot.
It's still not too late for you to be protected from the Flu! For your convenience, PLEASE check with your favorite MD or pharmacy on whether you should take a flu shot, flu shot availability, and prices for insured and non-insured.
