Admissions
Honolulu Community College welcomes applications from any U.S. high school graduate, GED (General Education Development) recipient or persons 18 years of age or over who can benefit from the instruction offered. Students under the age of 18 may be considered for early admission or the Running Start program.
Choose the type of student that best describes you to view the admissions process:
- Freshman
Students attending college for the very first time - Transfer Students
Students previously attended or currently attending college - Returning Students
Students who previously attended HCC and are not currently enrolled at another college - Early Admissions/Running Start
- International Students
Students who are not United States citizens or permanent residents of the United States and need an F1 student visa to study in the U.S. - Non-Credit Students
Students wanting to enroll in short-term, non-credit offerings and services. - Off Campus/Military Students
Students wanting to enroll in courses at Hickam Air Force Base, Pearl Harbor Naval Station or Moanalua School for Adults
