Grace R. Ihara Memorial Merit Scholarship

Criteria

  1. Active and participating member of Honolulu CC's Phi Theta Kappa chapter (exception: Apprenticeship Program students)
  2. Demonstrated community service (on or off campus)
  3. Minimum 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA
  4. Currently enrolled at Honolulu CC for 2012-13 and have completed at least two semesters of college. Apprenticeship Program credit classes seeking their Applied Trade degree students: Must be enrolled in credit classes seeking their Applied Trade degree
  5. Completed high percentage of Honolulu CC college classes attempted
  6. Write a one page essay on your personal background and academic/career plans
  7. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 or more credits
